Plymouth Seafood Festival returns and is set to bring The Barbican and Sutton Harbour alive. It's not just for seafood lovers, with entertainment, activities and dishes to celebrate the city’s fantastic caught seafood. The Plymouth seafood market is one of the top things to do in the city.
Plymouth is the first city in the world to be awarded the Fish2Fork Blue City status for its commitment to sourcing sustainable fish. Between Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September 2024, there will be opportunities to watch inspirational, regional and celebrity chefs who will delight you with their tantalising dishes at the Cookery Theatre. Wonder the array of local food and craft stands and be entertained.
In a vibrant celebration of fresh fish and seafood, the historic Barbican and Sutton Harbour will host a stunning showcase of sustainable seafood caught locally just off the shores of Plymouth. Traders and market stalls, a cookery theatre, children’s activities, demonstration marquees and more will appear along the quayside, already packed with shops, galleries and restaurants. Thousands of Plymouth residents, visitors and holidaymakers are expected to attend the event.
