Taking place on Sunday 11 May 2025, England’s south coast plays host to one of the most celebrated marathons in the entire UK. And you can take part. There's even free entry for elite runners if your time is below 67:30 for men and 74:00 for women.

Plymouth Half Marathon Route

The great views are among the best aspects of the Plymouth Half Marathon. Runners hit the closed road, starting and finishing at Plymouth Hoe. Running through the city centre, the grounds of the National Trust grounds of Saltram Park and over Laira bridge.

Plymouth 10K and Plymouth 5K Events

Alongside the Plymouth Half Marathon, other races take place. The Plymouth 10k is suitable for runners of all abilities. The 5K race offers newer and younger runners the chance to participate in a closed road race.

The route starts and finishes at Plymouth Hoe. Runners will pass landmarks including The Barcode, Royal Citadel, Drake's Circus, Theatre Royal and Smeatons Tower.
