One of the great things about Bristol is that there is plenty of breathtaking scenery, just a short drive away. The closest beach to the hotel is Severn Beach. It is next to the Prince of Wales Bridge (the Severn Crossing). Severn Beach is only a 25-minute drive from the hotel. The shingle beach has views of the Welsh coastline, and there is a flat pathway perfect for walking on too.

You can even stroll along the Grade I listed pier for a small fee. A short walk from the beach is an ornamental garden and Victorian bandstand, plus the Clevedon Marine Lake where you can swim, sail and canoe.
Portishead is a coastal town within the Severn Estuary, just 5-minutes from the M5 motorway. It is a sandstone and mudstone shingle beach which is backed by low cliffs. Adjacent to the beach is an artificial lake and a small park. Portishead Beach is a 30-minute drive from Future Inns.

Burnham-On-Sea is a classic seaside resort. Here you’ll find brilliant stretches of sandy beach, ideal for swimming or paddling. Complete with promenade, and there is a famous pier too – which is the shortest in Britain. From Future Inn Bristol, it is a 50-minute drive.
