Begin with a cocktail to get the evening off to a special start before choosing three courses off the table d'hôte dinner menu. You can then choose to stick to the same cocktail or pick two entirely different ones from the cocktail menu.

Thomas Restaurant is a vibrant dining venue in the heart of Cardiff Bay that offers a memorable culinary experience. Known for serving locally sourced produce, the menu showcases a delightful range of British and Welsh dishes, ensuring that diners can enjoy an authentic taste of the region. From hearty breakfasts to leisurely lunches and indulgent dinners, it is ideal for both hotel guests and locals alike.

Additionally, the restaurant features an inviting bar area, perfect for enjoying a drink. In the summer months, take advantage of the outdoor terrace. A large selection of drinks is also available, including popular local brands Brains beers, Penderyn whiskey and vodka, Benjamin Hall gins, and Cariad wines. What is a table d'hôte or TDH menu?

In restaurant terminology, a table d'hôte menu is a multi-course meal with a smaller selection of choices are charged at a fixed price. It is also known as a set menu. It in no way reduces the quality of the food you receive. The main difference between an a-la-carte and table d'hôte menu is that the a-la-carte will have a wide variety of courses that are individually priced, whereas the table d'hôte is a menu type usually with a set number of courses, all for a set price.

Disabled Access

The open-plan restaurant is found on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. There is booth seating and tables where a chair can be easily removed for a wheelchair. Free parking and blue badge parking can be found directly in front of the restaurant. Admittedly there is no disabled toilet in the restaurant; however, there is one in the conference corridor next to the other bathrooms. This is a short distance away. Free Parking

Guests at Thomas Restaurant in Cardiff get free parking. Found directly outside the restaurant. Please ensure you enter your car registration details on one of the consoles in the restaurant or reception when you arrive. This is to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice.
