Directions and Car Parking Information

By Car

Exit the M4 on junction 33 signposted Cardiff West. Follow the signs for A4232 Central Cardiff and remain on this road for approximately five miles until you reach the Bute Town Tunnel.

Go through the tunnel bearing left at the roundabout, and then keep left at the mini roundabout driving into the Red Dragon Centre. Immediately turn left driving straight ahead, Future Inns will be on your right-hand side.

Road Closures

There will be some road closures on Hemingway Road from 8 March 2024 for approximately 11 weeks. If you are coming to the hotel via the A4232 or the city centre, you will be able to access the hotel. Travelling from Cardiff Bay and the city centre via Lloyd Geroge Avenue, a short diversion will be in place.

By Train

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Cardiff Bay train station or a 25-minute walk from Cardiff Central train station.

By Bus

Cardiff Bus numbers 8 and 9 stop outside Cardiff County Hall which is a 3-minute walk to the hotel. 

By Air

Cardiff Airport is approximately 25-30 minutes drive, depending on the time of day.  If travelling during the morning or evening commute this can take longer.  The T9 bus from the airport stops on Hemingway Road in Cardiff Bay and is a 3-minute walk to the hotel. You can see the route here.

Free Parking

Free Car Parking is available for overnight guests, those dining in Thomas Restaurant or attending a conference, wedding or event.  Car registration details need to be input into one of the consoles in Reception on in Thomas Restaurant or a parking charge notice will be issued.
