You will discover the history of Cardiff through film, photographs, stories and objects, and learn how Cardiff grew from a small market town to the capital city it is today. Sadly the Doctor Who Experience is no long open in Cardiff. Here you were transported by the Tardis through space to different time zones in order to help the Doctor with his mission and save him from his enemies. There were even a few scary monsters, including Daleks, Cybermen and Sontarans. However, you can still explore Cardiff and easily find the filming locations.
This trial is a fantastic activity for the whole family. You will be walking around Cardiff Bay, visiting many of the historical sights on the way, in order to collect the answers to the clues. The Treasure Trail is 2.5 miles long and is a great opportunity to get your kids exercising in the open air.
You will not be short of things to do in the National Museum of Cardiff. There's always plenty to see and do, whatever your interests. Personally, we recommend the Evolution of Wales exhibition, where you can travel through time and come face to face with the giant Woolly Mammoth and Dinosaurs.
