If the walls could talk

You name them. They've probably played here. Since the opening concert by Shirley Bassey on 10 September 1993, Cardiff International Arena has staged performances by hundreds of global stars. Names who have performed in the arena are among Westlife, Take That, Kylie Minogue, One Direction, Jessie J, Anastacia, Steps, JLS, Jason Derulo and Mariah Carey. In March 2015, the venue's 3000th event was marked by a show headlined by singer Katherine Jenkins.

The arena reverted back to its original CIA name on 22 September 2022 after being named Motorpoint Arena Cardiff since March 2011

Thomas Restaurant is ideal to fuel up before the event. The team serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, evening a-la-carte or traditional roasts on Sunday. A homemade Taste of Wales Afternoon Tea is served daily between 1pm-5pm or our set menu offers 3 courses for £25 daily between 5pm-10pm. A large selection of drinks is also available, including 2 for £16 cocktails.
