What Is the Wallace and Gromit Trail?

Created by the brilliant minds at Aardman Animations Limited and organised by The Grand Appeal – the official charity for Bristol Children's Hospital – the Wallace and Gromit Trail is not just a free public art sculpture trail that takes over Bristol for the summer but also a significant fundraising event for a vital cause.

Scattered across Bristol, you'll find 50+ larger-than-life sculptures of Wallace, Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Feathers McGraw, and this year's brand new character Norbot, a smart gnome straight out of Wallace's latest invention mishap. Each sculpture has been designed by a different artist, showcasing everything from pop culture themes to local landmarks, making each one unique.

And yes, the Wallace and Gromit statues are incredibly Instagrammable!

When Is It Happening?

Wallace and Gromit Unleashed 2025 dates run from 30th June to 1st September 2025 – the perfect way to fill the school holidays with colour, creativity, and curiosity.

Where Can I Find the Sculptures?

This summer, the trail locations revealed include a mix of city centre streets, leafy parks, riverside spots, and even a forest, thanks to a special partnership with Forestry England.

Each sculpture sits along a carefully planned road or pathway, making it ideal for walking, scooting, or cycling.
