Bristol Pride 2025

Taking place on The Downs on Saturday 12 July 2025 | Bristol Events this Weekend

Bristol Pride Day 2025 will take place on Saturday 12 July. It's the event's 16th anniversary! The festival’s exciting programme of events will take place in venues across Bristol starting on 28 June 2024.

Bristol Pride, which is a registered charity, will feature multiple stages, attract some of the biggest names in live music and entertainment, and showcase new and emerging talent, including performances from local artists and community groups. The line-up will be released over the coming months. Pride Day will also see a welcome return of the Pride Big Top, Youth Area, Family Zone and Community Area.

An incredible 40,000 took part in the 10th-anniversary celebrations in 2019. After having to adapt to restrictions in recent years. Record numbers again attended Bristol Pride in 2023, with over 22,000 participating in the Parade March through the city centre, whilst the main festival on the Downs saw 40,000 people attend with over 100 artists performing across 5 stages and a headline set from international superstar Natalie Imbruglia and Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears.

What is Bristol Pride?

Pride is a positive stance against discrimination and violence toward lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT+) people to promote their self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, increase their visibility as a social group, build community, and celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance. Pride, as opposed to shame and social stigma, is the predominant outlook that bolsters most LGBT+ rights movements worldwide.

Bristol Pride is also a chance to celebrate our community. Organised by members of the LGBT+ community, Pride is the chance for all LGBT Bristol UK people, their friends, families and allies to stand up and declare they are proud of who they are and their loved ones.

Do you need a wristband for Bristol Pride?
