Restaurant Offers Bristol

Available seven days a week, the table d'hote menu offers two courses for £22 or three courses for £26. The menu includes popular selections from the Chophouse Restaurant and fantastic fresh specials. The restaurant welcomes hotel guests, Bristol residents, and visitors to the area.

Chophouse Restaurant offers a modern twist on classic dishes showcasing the best of the region's produce. From hearty breakfasts to indulgent dinners, it is ideal for both hotel guests and locals alike. Whether you enjoy a succulent steak, a hearty burger, or a fresh fish dish, every meal delivers bold flavours and satisfying portions.

Additionally, the restaurant features an inviting bar area, perfect for enjoying a drink. A large selection of drinks is also available, including popular local brands Buttcombe, Bristol Harvey Cream and Bristol Rum. Naturally, there's a good choice of soft drinks, including refreshing fruit juices, tea, coffee, and mocktails.

Starters

  • Brie, sun-dried tomato and basil crostini with onion marmalade and a rocket salad (v)
  • Homemade mushroom and tarragon soup and croutons (v) (vg)
  • Piri Piri chicken wings with red onion salsa 
  • Quinoa and lentils with fresh mint and feta salad (v) 

Mains

  • Grilled bavette steak with herb butter, roast tomato, watercress and chunky chips 
  • Char-grilled chicken breast with a wild mushroom sauce served with kale and dauphinoise potato 
  • Grilled salmon fillet with sweet chilli sauce, fresh coriander and cous cous
  • Roasted halloumi, aubergine and courgette with a beef tomato stack and a basil and tomato sauce (v)

Desserts

  • Grilled pineapple with gin and tonic sorbet (v) (vg) (gf)
  • Cherry and chocolate ice cream bomb (v) (gf)
  • Homemade Prosseco and blackcurrant cheesecake (v)
  • Homemade sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream (v)

What is a table d'hôte or TDH menu?

In restaurant terminology, a table d'hôte menu is a multi-course meal with a smaller selection of choices charged at a fixed price. It is also known as a set menu. It in no way reduces the quality of the food you receive. The main difference between an a-la-carte and table d'hôte menu is that the a-la-carte will have a wide variety of courses that are individually priced, whereas the table d'hôte is a menu type usually with a set number of courses, all for a set price.

Children

Children are more than welcome in Chophouse Restaurant. A children's menu is available daily, which offers a main, dessert and drink for £8. It is ideal for under 12's. Under 5's can eat for free with a paying adult. 

Disabled Access

The open-plan restaurant is on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. There is booth seating and tables where a chair can be easily removed for a wheelchair. An accessible toilet is found in the bar area. Parking for Blue Badge holders is at the back of the building, which is £9 per car. Your vehicle will need to be registered at Reception when you arrive to avoid being sent a penalty charge notice. Be sure to check out our accessible guide to the hotel and restaurant.
