Chophouse Restaurant is the home of steaks, chops and ribs. Not into steak? No problem! There are so many lip-smacking choices; chicken and fish dishes – including our sustainable haddock battered in Butcombe™ beer. Dishes are homemade, using local produce and fresh ingredients. There are a lot of choices to get your taste buds tingling with options to suit all diets.

We highly recommend adding our full English breakfast to your stay to ensure all of the party starts the day the right way or help those who may have over-indulged the night before. Lunch and an evening a-la-carte menu are also served, and we welcome stag night group bookings. Many also choose our popular 3 course meal for £26 special offer, which is available Monday to Sunday from 5pm. 

You can expect draft lager, cider, craft beer, wine and spirits. Our local selection includes Buttcombe, Bristol Harvey Cream and Bristol Rum. There's also 2 for £16 on cocktails

Mountain bikers, horse riders, golfers and families flock here. Stoke Park is a vast open space which dates back to 1066. Walk through woodland, near lakes and across fields, gazing at the bright yellow Dower House and the futuristic-looking Purdown Transmitter Tower above the estate.

The Bristol Museum and Art Gallery is free entry every day of the year. The building itself is quite beautiful and filled to the rafters with interesting exhibits.
