It might seem a little strange to be celebrating Christmas all over again in January, but there are some good reasons why holding a January Christmas Party makes complete sense:
1. Everyone is busy in December
The preparation for Christmas can be a manic and stressful time for many people. There’s not just the buying of presents, food preparation and decorations to consider. People’s social schedules can be very busy too. It can seem impossible to fit everything in. The Christmas Party can easily become a distraction and one that people attend only out of obligation.
If you work in an industry such as hospitality or retail, it could be the business's busiest time of the year, and celebrating in January after a successful month could just be the ticket.
2. Start as you mean to go on
What better way to kick-start the New Year than a team get-together? It's a fantastic opportunity to motivate your team and look ahead to the targets and challenges of the year ahead. You could also use it as a team-building exercise to help your team bond and work more efficiently together.
3. Beat Blue Monday
By contrast, everybody tends to feel a bit deflated post-Christmas. It’s very much an ‘After the show is over’ feeling. January is a dark, long month. It contains officially the most depressing day of the year – the third Monday of the month, ‘Blue Monday’. If ever there was a month when people need their spirits lifted, it’s January.
4. Easier to schedule
Event venue diaries can fill very quickly in December. January is a much quieter month for bookings. This means there are some great deals to be had. You can also mean you are more likely to be able to book your favourite entertainer.
Disabled access
Despite its top-floor location, the venue is entirely accessible, thanks to lift access, wide doors on the whole level and fully accessible toilets. All public areas and meeting spaces in the hotel are accessible for wheelchair users, with open spaces and wide corridors. How to Get to Future Inns
Future Inn Bristol boasts easy access to the M32 and M5. The venue is just a mile from Bristol Temple Meads Station, and buses stop on the opposite side of the road. Ample parking is available at nearby Cabot Circus, with discounted rates for guests. Making our top Christmas party venue accessible for guests travelling to attend the Christmas party.
Parking at Future Inns
Christmas party guests and those dining in Chophouse Restaurant get 50% off parking at Cabot Circus Car Park, next door to the venue. Please present your ticket to our reception team upon departure, and they will validate it.
Hotel Guests:
All guests get free parking at Cabot Circus, directly across the road from the hotel.
The car park is within the Bristol Clean Air Zone; however, entry and exit via Houlton Street avoids the chargeable zone.
We recommend double-checking your car's eligibility before travelling.
A drop-off parking zone at the back of the hotel gives you a strict 15 minutes to unload.
Limited blue badge parking is also available, but it needs to be pre-arranged with the team.
Terms and Conditions
A per-person deposit is required. The remaining balance can be settled 4 weeks before the event. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-amendable. A pre-order may be required. Full Christmas 2025 terms and conditions are here.
